Ledgent is provided by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], a company registered in England and Wales under company number [COMPANY NUMBER], with its registered office at [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("Ledgent", "we", "us").
By creating an account, starting a free trial, or using Ledgent, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're agreeing on behalf of a practice or business, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
Ledgent is bookkeeping automation software that captures and extracts data from invoices, receipts, and bank statements, and — where you choose to connect them — syncs that data with Xero or QuickBooks Online. Full detail on what Ledgent accesses and writes is set out on our Integrations page.
You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately at [SUPPORT EMAIL] if you suspect unauthorised use.
New customers may be offered a 14-day free trial with full access and no card required. We may end or change trial terms at any time, including for a specific sign-up, without notice.
Ledgent is charged at a fixed monthly fee per practice, plus a small per-invoice processing charge, as set out on our Pricing page. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change our pricing with reasonable notice.
Ledgent connects to third-party platforms, including Xero and QuickBooks Online, at your choice and instruction. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of those third-party platforms, and your use of them is subject to their own terms. QuickBooks is a trademark of Intuit Inc. Xero is a trademark of Xero Limited. Ledgent is not affiliated with or endorsed by either.
You retain ownership of the financial documents and data you submit to Ledgent. You grant us permission to process that data to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any data you provide.
You agree not to misuse Ledgent, including attempting to disrupt the service, access accounts you don't own, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
Ledgent, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] or our licensors. These terms don't transfer any ownership of that intellectual property to you.
Ledgent is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where we reasonably believe continued access poses a risk. See our Disconnect page for how to disconnect your accounting platform.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or a notice on our website, and continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
